Yana holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Linguistics from Dnipro National University. Born and raised in Ukraine, she spent years sharing her passion for language as an English teacher before moving to the U.S. with her family. Today, she continues her love for education as a volunteer ESL tutor for the Ridgewood Public Library—a program affiliated with the Literacy NJ network, helping adult learners navigate a new language and culture.

Beyond teaching, she is an avid explorer who loves discovering the charm of nearby towns, visiting local farms, hiking, and taking long walks outdoors. Her personal passions include reading, listening to music, and traveling to new places.

As an active volunteer at her daughter’s school, Yana thrives on community connection and family time. Whether it’s baking together, crafting, family movie nights, or hands-on projects, she loves bringing creativity into everyday life with her family.
