Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Sena brings over two decades of fashion and textile design experience to her work in the arts. A Rhode Island School of Design graduate, she spent her early career designing embellishments for houses like Alexander McQueen and Catherine Malandrino, later launching her own global contemporary and activewear labels.

Sena’s deep belief in hands-on creative education has led her to teach youth programs at the Cooper Hewitt, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. Inspired by childhood memories of the volunteer parent "Picture Lady" who first sparked her love for art history, she is passionate about bringing that same wonder to students today. She currently teaches "Paper Couture" fashion workshops through the Glen Rock Community School and shares her love for creative sustainability through playful large scale food sculptures made out of recycled materials.

At ARTPOP, Sena serves as a School Rep, Art Docent, and Vice President/Webmaster. Outside of teaching and community arts, she loves making kimchi and sewing hanboks.
