Marina is a Parent Docent at Radburn Elementary. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and has built a career in Human Resources. A daughter of Russian immigrants, Marina grew up surrounded by art—her grandmother was an opera singer and her grandfather had a deep love for all kinds of funky, eclectic art. Her early exposure fostered her own appreciation for creativity, which she now enjoys sharing with students through the docent program. A proud mom of three, Marina loves reading (her Kindle is her constant companion), traveling to the beach, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys cooking and baking, which is her favorite way to bring a little art into everyday life.
